The Senior Vice President of Operational Transformation is a critical executive leadership role responsible for driving organizational excellence through strategic execution and operational discipline. Reporting directly to the CEO, this role serves as the "how we get things done" leader, translating strategic vision into measurable results while building scalable systems and processes that enable sustainable growth.
This position requires a proven operator who can break down complexity, drive cross-functional alignment, and create accountability frameworks that ensure the organization executes with speed and precision.

Strategic Execution & Delivery- Partner with the CEO and executive team to translate strategic priorities into executable roadmaps with clear milestones, owners, and success metrics
- Design and implement operational frameworks that improve execution speed across the organization
- Drive major company-wide initiatives from conception through completion, removing blockers and ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery
- Establish cadence and rigor around planning cycles, goal-setting (OKRs/KPIs), and performance tracking
Operational Excellence & Process Optimization- Assess current operational maturity and identify opportunities to streamline workflows, eliminate inefficiencies, and scale effectively
- Build and optimize core business processes across functions including product development, go-to-market, customer success, and support operations
- Implement tools, systems, and methodologies that enhance productivity, visibility, and decision-making
- Champion a culture of continuous improvement and operational discipline
Cross-Functional Leadership & Alignment- Serve as the connective tissue across departments, ensuring seamless collaboration and information flow
- Facilitate executive-level decision-making through data-driven insights and clear frameworks
- Break down organizational silos and drive alignment on priorities, resources, and timelines
- Lead cross-functional working groups and steering committees for critical initiatives
Transformation & Change Management- Lead enterprise-wide transformation initiatives including organizational design, process reengineering, and system implementations
- Develop and execute change management strategies that drive adoption and minimize disruption
- Build stakeholder engagement and communication plans that ensure transparency and buy-in
- Coach leaders and teams through periods of significant change
Metrics, Analytics & Performance Management- Define and track key operational metrics that provide visibility into organizational health and performance
- Build executive dashboards and reporting mechanisms that enable data-driven decision-making
- Conduct regular business reviews to assess progress, identify risks, and adjust course as needed
- Establish accountability mechanisms that drive ownership and results
Team Leadership & Development- Build and lead a high-performing operational excellence team including program managers, business operations specialists, and analysts
- Mentor and develop talent across the organization in operational best practices
- Foster a results-oriented culture that values execution, accountability, and impact
Success Measures- On-time delivery of strategic initiatives with measurable business impact
- Improvement in key operational efficiency metrics (cycle time, resource utilization, cost per unit)
- Employee engagement scores related to clarity, alignment, and ability to execute
- Executive team satisfaction with operational support and execution capability
- Successful implementation of scalable processes and systems
- Development and retention of high-performing operational team members
Required Qualifications- Bachelor's degree required; MBA or relevant graduate degree preferred
- Relevant certifications in operational excellence, program management, or change management a plus
- 12+ years of progressive operational leadership experience, with at least 7 years in senior executive roles
- Proven track record of leading large-scale transformation initiatives in high-growth technology companies
- Deep expertise in operational frameworks, process design, and program management methodologies
- Experience partnering with C-suite executives and board members
- Demonstrated success in scaling organizations through rapid growth phases
